Dear Student
We understand that there is currently much uncertainty about various issues relating to your studies in UK including questions about your visa status.
To address your concerns about your student visa, we have invited Mr Jeremy Oppenheim, North East Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Director, UK Border Agency, to come to the University of Sheffield to speak to you on matters relating to immigration and to offer some reassurance in these uncertain times.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 12 April at 10.30 a.m. in the Richard Roberts Auditorium and will last approximately one hour. We shall also be inviting students from Sheffield Hallam University.
If you have any questions that you know you want to ask, it would be very helpful if you could send them to me beforehand so that we can keep the meeting to time.
We would also like to remind you that if you have any concerns about financial or academic issues, you should contact us. We need to hear from you in order to be able to help.
