Dear brothers and sisters members of the Libyan Community in Canada

In the last few days we have achieved a lot. As you are aware, Libyans did not dare to demonstrate against Qaddafi in any city or place before Feb. 15, 2011. They have come out now in all Libyan and world cities supporting the young revolutionaries.
We have a lot to do in support of the Libyan revolutionaries in line with the sacrifices they make on the ground of our homeland while Gaddafi is hitting them with cluster bombs.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Attached to this letter is a petition you are kindly requested to send to the Canadian Minister of International Relations.
The e-mail address is:
Please start your e-mail to the Minister with:

ATT: His Excellency the Minister of International Relations, Canada

Please write your name, telephone number and the city where you live.
Also, please send it to at least one friend and treat it as top urgent. May Allah reward you.

We hope that all Libyans in Canada do the least by sending their names in support of our brothers and sisters who sacrifice their lives for their country.

Please read the petition on the website of Almanarah, Libya Almostakbal, Libya Alyoum and Libya watanona,  under  the title:
Special for Libyans in Canada

Your Excellency, Mr. Lawrence Cannon,
The Minister of International Relations, Canada,

The Libyan community in Canada including Canadian citizens, students and permanent residents would like to seize this opportunity to express their thanks and appreciation for the political and military support provided by the Canadian authorities to the Libyan people.

Your Excellency,

As you are aware, on Feb. 15, 2011 internal security elements (internal terror) detained Lawyer Fathi Trabel who represents families of the missing persons in the Abou-Sleem prison incident in which 1260 political inmates were killed. The demonstrators called for the release of Mr. Trabel. The internal security elements opened fire on them and a number of young people were killed. Consequently, people of Benghazi, Tubroq, Derna, Tripoli, Souq-Aljuma, Tajoura, Aljabal Algharbi, and Kufra revolted in protest and they burned every building representing Gaddafi’s revolutionary committees and congresses and the main offices of the internal security forces.
Gaddafi’s response to that was “It’s time to take action, time to start the struggle and salvation”
The Libyan revolutionaries realized that they themselves were the target. He urged his sons and mercenaries to start the annihilation of anyone who opposes him or to say (No) as the latter doesn’t exist in the political dictionary of Gaddafi and his family.  He gave them the example of the Chinese government clampdown on the students demonstrating in Tiananmen Square, and another example of spraying Russian school students with poisonous gases and the American forces attack on Faluja and turning it into dust.  He promised to turn Libya’s land into fire.  The mercenaries in Benghazi, Tripoli, Souq Al-Jomaa, Tajoura, and Al-Zawiya launched their criminal acts of kidnapping and killing any thing that moves on the ground during the last two months.

Your Excellency,
The Libyan community in Canada requests the following:
  1. Recognizing the transitional legislative council as the sole authority representing the Libyan people.
  2. Sending humanitarian aid and delivering it on the ground in Libya to those who need it especially in Musrata and Ajidabia.
  3. Deporting Libyan diplomats in Canada, as they pose a danger to the Canadian national security and the Libyan community in Canada.

As your Excellency is aware, these diplomats are from the secret police and intelligence, and they are fully loyal to Gaddafi. And as Canada is a NATO member involved in Libya, they will never hesitate to realize their objectives of avenging Libya in Canada which plays an important and essential role in the NATO effort.

They collect names of students and protesters to exercise pressure on their families in Libya.  The following are the names of the Libyan diplomats and students who collect these names and submit them to the Libyan intelligence in Libya:
  1. The Libyan ambassador Mr. Abdul Rahman, who called Gaddafi the leader of the revolution two weeks ago when he used to hold meetings with the embassy staff..
  2. Mr. Jamal A. A. Dalala, first secretary in the embassy.
  3. Mr. Adel B. Sh. Al-Zaiani, second secretary in the embassy.
  4. Mr. Abulfutuh M.M. Farag, Third secretary in the embassy.
  5. Mr. Meri Ali Meri, counsillor.
  6. Slaeh R. M. Zaidan, counsillor.

The students include Ahmed Milad Alfqhi who supports Gaddafi even inside mosques. He’s a medical student living in the city of Toronto, Ontario, his father is Colonel under Gaddafi’s regime and was the army spokesman on Gaddafi state television speaking against NATO strikes on Libya recently.

There is one more person we know little about, and we are waiting to get some information about him from Libya.

We would like to seize this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation of the efforts made by your Excellency and the Canadian government in support of the Libyan people and their struggle in these difficult times.

The Libyan community in Canada.
